If your last hour of Covered Employment was prior to June 1st, 1962:
You attained Vested status for a Regular Pension if you remained in Covered Employment until at least age 65 and earned 25 Pension Credits. If you remained in Covered Employment until age 65 or older during this period and earned 15 Pension Credits, you attained Vested status for a 15-Credit pension.
If your last hour of Covered Employment was on or after June 1st, 1962:
The above rules apply except that you may retire with an early retirement pension if you remained in Covered Employment until at least age 62 and have earned 15 Pension Credits.
If your last hour of Covered Employment was between January 1st, 1970 and January 1st, 1976
You attained Vested status if you met all of the then applicable requirements for a pension, other than the age requirement and 1.) attained age 55 or older OR 2.) on or after June 1st, 1973 earned 25 Pension Credits regardless of age.
