What to Do

in Emergencies, Weekends or When We are Closed

Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

At anytime, call 877-TALK-2-RN (825-5276) if you need to speak to a nurse who can help you:

    • Understand symptoms and choose appropriate care and where to get it
    • Manage health condition and explore treatment options
    • Identify possible medication side effects and interactions
    • Get helpful self-care tips for a wide range of health situations

Only Go to a Hospital Emergency Room for Medical Emergencies

At Emergency Rooms, true emergencies are usually treated first, while less urgent cases wait — sometimes hours for triage or treatment, and it may result in a direct bill, that you may be responsible for paying in full, 100%. Consider seeking immediate assistance at an Emergency Room for:

  • Heavy bleeding
  • Large open wounds
  • Sudden change in vision
  • Chest pain
  • Sudden weakness or trouble talking
  • Major burns
  • Spinal injuries
  • Severe head injury
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Major broken bones
